Mozzarella Cooking Class


Have fun making mozzarella with your own hands and discover all the secrets of making the famous dairy product in the heart of Positano. Chef Serafina and an expert cheesemaker will teach you how to make mozzarella and prepare mozzarella dishes typical of traditional Campanian cuisine.
Our interactive cooking classes at Latteria involve participants learning step-by-step with Serafina’s guidance.
Thanks to our expert local chef Serafina and her mother, you will spend a unique morning cooking like real Italians and tasting typical Campanian dishes.

When: Our private cooking class takes place in the mornings from Monday to Saturday on request
How long: The morning session starts at 10.00 am and ends at 1.00 pm.
Number of participants: Minimum 2, Maximum 12.

Please note that we do not accept children under the age of 6 years. 



Do you want to find out how mozzarella from Campania is made? Join this cooking class and experience it with your own hands! Thanks to the presence of an expert cheesemaker you will discover all the processes involved in making mozzarella. We will also prepare together typical Neapolitan mozzarella dishes.

All levels of experience are welcome.
Class duration is approximately 2/3 hours.

Please advise in advance of any food allergies.

An optional vegan/vegetarian menu is available for private lessons with a minimum of 2 people.
The menu is enhanced with dairy products and may vary depending on the season and availability of products.

It includes:

  •  Fresh homemade mozzarella
  • Ricotta gnocchi with sage sauce
  • Caprese Salad
  • Mozzarella in carrozza
  • Tiramisù
  • Water

We do not accept children under the age of 6 years.
